Depending on where you live, a good portion of the year it may be difficult for you to get out and grill due to the weather. I know here in Cleveland, OH that is definitely the case!

So what are your options for grilling when the snow is falling too? You’d be surprised by how much you can still do indoors with a stove and some cast iron. Start off your roasts or steaks in the slow cooker, oven, or a pressure cooker and then give it a nice reverse sear with a cast iron skillet to finish it off, followed by garlic butter and rosemary bath to baste it (see image).

More interestingly, the technology is ever-changing nowadays, to the point of using indoor smokeless grills, smokers as well as smoke guns that give all the flavor of smoked meat without the actual smoker and to be used in your kitchen.

Just because the weather isn’t cooperating doesn’t mean you still can’t enjoy a ribeye or some pulled pork.
